What’s up, Tiger Fam!!

My name is Tomanekka, but my friends call me Tia!! I am an Atlanta native, but my heart belongs to Albany, GA where I attended UNSINKABLE Albany State University and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. In addition, I earned my master’s degree from Mercer University in 2020.

I am the oldest girl of five, so naturally I always think I’m in charge. I am a proud mommy to my four and one-year-old lion cubs. This is my first year being the agriculture teacher. However, I’m not a rookie regarding education. This is my 8th total year of teaching and my 3rd year here at Oakley.

I’m so excited to collaborate with every staff member, student, and stakeholder at Oakley. The bar is set high, being that we are the only Elementary Agriculture program in all of South Fulton. I cannot wait to see all the ways we will bring this program to life.
