Principal's Message

Ms. Uche Ngoddy
Principal

Ms. Ngoddy has been in education since 2005, when she joined Fulton County Schools as a teacher at Liberty Point Elementary. Ms. Ngoddy has served as an elementary teacher in multiple grades, Early Intervention Program Teacher, and Counselor. For the past five years, Ms. Ngoddy has served as an Assistant Principal in Fulton County Schools. Leading for the first four at Vickery Mill Elementary and for the past year at S.L. Lewis Elementary.

Ms. Ngoddy is a native of Union City, Georgia and one proud "Fultonite!” She attended Georgia Southern University where she earned her Bachelor of Science, Early Childhood Education Degree, and her Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University. Ms. Ngoddy earned her Master of School Counseling Degree from University of West Georgia.

Personally, she is the daughter of Nigerian immigrants, and her culture and family mean everything to her. She attributes her family and her culture to cultivating her love for children and education. In her free time, she enjoys engaging in cultural events, traveling, working out, watching football, and spending time with family!

Ms. Ngoddy is passionate about building a community of life learners that are well prepared to perform at their personal best. She is excited to join Oakley Elementary School to support the mission. She is excited to meet the Oakley community, talented students and the hardworking staff, parents, and community members.

Ms. Ngoddy is excited to take her next step in her leadership journey to roar as an Oakley Tiger!
